Thank-you gift has been changed to Prezzy Cards

We wanted to make you all aware that we have decided to change the way we provide thank-you gifts to participants. Rest assured, everyone who has completed 80% or more of a study wave will receive a gift, and the value of the gift has not changed.

We are now going to use Prezzy cards to distribute our thank-you gifts to participants. These will arrive to you via email, in the form on an e-voucher. We have changed to Prezzy cards rather than sticking with the four options that we previously offered (JB HiFi, Woolworths, Mitre 10, and Z).

The reason we have made this change is that Prezzy cards are a bit more flexible for our participants. Prezzy cards can be used in store and online, anywhere that accepts Visa or Mastercard. This means that many more options are available to you to redeem the thank-you gift. This is more suitable for people who like to shop online, or the previous stores were not relevant or accessible to them.

This change has been approved by the VUW Human Ethics Committee HE040233 v. 2.01

Thank-you gifts are being distributed as people complete Wave 1 and we check whether 80% of the tasks were completed. The specific date that you receive yours will vary depending on when you started the study.
